MISSION STATEMENT
The Catholic Parish of Saints Andrew, Francis and Paul, under the
pastoral responsibility of the Bishop of Charleston, seeks in its diverse church
settings to be a people open to the Holy Spirit. Through that openness, we
seek to be a community of faith in Jesus Christ, who invites us to follow Him in
our personal and communal journeys to the One whom Jesus called Father.
The specific characteristics of this journey within the
Catholic tradition commit us to being: EVANGELIZERS of Good News to one
another and especially the unchurched in our area, RECONCILERS with those who
find themselves at the margins of both the religious and secular community,
UNITERS with other Christians and all people of good will for prayer and service
to our world. In prayer, in service, and in fellowship with one another,
we pledge ourselves to being a Catholic community where those struggling with
their faith and life are welcomed and where young and old, rich and poor, can
experience God's Shalom.
